These Terms govern your use of Wreck4cash.com and your dealings with Wreck4cash ("we/our/us"). By requesting a quote, booking a pickup, selling a vehicle to us or purchasing parts, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
Vehicle: any car, ute, van, truck or 4×4 you offer to sell to us
Parts: used or reconditioned auto parts we sell to you
You/your: the individual or entity dealing with us
2. Quotes & offers for vehicles
Quotes are free, no‑obligation and based on the information you provide and current market conditions.
Final offers may change after onsite inspection if details/condition differ from your description.
Offers generally remain valid for 7 calendar days unless stated otherwise.
3. Ownership & right to sell
You warrant that:
You are the legal owner of the Vehicle or have the owner’s authority to sell
The Vehicle is free of undisclosed encumbrances, or you have authority to release them
Identification and proof of ownership may be required
4. Pickup, title transfer & payment
Free Perth‑area pickup is provided where safe and reasonably accessible.
You must ensure safe access and disclose hazards (e.g., immobilisers, LPG, flood/fire damage).
Title passes to us upon payment and completion of our purchase documents. You must remove personal belongings and plates (if requested by law/DMV equivalent) before pickup.
Payment is typically via EFT or other lawful method. For high‑value transactions we may require EFT only and ID checks.
5. Vehicles with finance or write‑offs
You must disclose any finance, encumbrances or statutory write‑off status. We may settle encumbrances directly with the financier or decline purchase.
6. Parts sales (to you)
Unless stated otherwise, used parts are sold with a 90‑day limited warranty covering replacement or refund at our option if the part is faulty under normal use. Labour, diagnostics, fluids and consequential losses are not covered.
Electrical/electronic parts are sold tested where possible but are non‑returnable once installed unless required by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Parts must be installed by a qualified technician following manufacturer procedures. Improper installation voids warranty.
Keep your invoice—proof of purchase is required for any claim.
7. Returns & refunds for parts
Change‑of‑mind returns accepted within 14 days for stock items in resaleable condition (unused, with all accessories), subject to a 15% restocking fee. No returns on special orders, cut body sections, ECUs programmed to VIN, airbags or items marked "as‑is" unless required by the ACL.
For warranty claims, contact us before removing the part; we may require photos, diagnostics or return for testing.
8. Cancellations of bookings (vehicle sales to us)
You may cancel before our truck is dispatched at no charge. If you cancel after dispatch or we cannot access the Vehicle at the booked time, a call‑out fee may apply to cover transport costs (see Deal Cancellation Policy).
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the ACL. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the replacement, repair or refund of the relevant goods/services, or the cost of doing so. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Website use
Content on our site is provided in good faith for general information. We may change content without notice.
You must not misuse the website (e.g., introduce malware, scrape, or infringe IP).
Copyright and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You must not reproduce site content without permission.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of WA courts.
